MTRID Mentoring Program

Benefit for MTRID members The MTRID Mentoring program provides protégé an opportunity to improve interpreting skills in a supported and supportive environment. Mentors provide feedback in a constructive manner.

"I love the mentoring program that is offered through MTRID. I interpreted during the MTRID meeting and a mentor watched and took notes. After the meeting, I met with the mentor and she gave me feedback. She told me not only what I needed to improve on, but also what was done correctly. Also, the Deaf people during the meeting watched, and I was able to ask for their opinion. They are the best critics. I encourage anyone who wants to improve their interpreting skills to take advantage of this opportunity."
