The Memphis, TN sub-chapter of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (MTRID) is a non-profit organization of certified and non-certified interpreters, Deaf and hearing consumers, parents, and other interested parties.

MTRID Objectives:

• Promote quality interpreting services
• Recognize the unique language and culture of Deaf people
• Provide professionals development opportunities
• Provide the public with information regarding interpreting
• Foster input and representation from the deaf community into its activities
• Raise funds to support the purposes and activities of MTRID
