Carol LaCava
TRID Treasurer

Carol holds the CT. She previously held the position of KTRID President. She was also the President of TRID from 1995 - 1999 and Secretary from 1993 - 1995. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Sign Language Interpreting from Maryville College and a Master's degree in Deaf Education from The University of Tennessee. Carol has been the Coordinator of the Educational Interpreting Program at UT for the past ten years. Prior to this position, she was the Assistant Director of Disability Services at UT for two years and worked at the Tennessee School for the Deaf for eight years. One of her more recent ventures has been co-founding InterAct Children's Theatre for the Deaf. In summer 2003, Carol received the TRID President's Award.
