Marie Griffin
TRID Secretary

Marie holds the CSC, OIC:C, SC:L, CI, and CT. From 1980 to 2000 she coordinated the Region IV federal interpreter training project. She has been a full time interpreter educator since 1975. She is a past member of the RID Board of Directors (Region II Representative) and of The Conference of Interpreter Trainers Board of Directors(Secretary/Treasurer). She has completed half her coursework for a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis (Postsecondary Education) with instructional technology as her collateral area. Born in England and possessing dual British/U.S. citizenship, Marie has lived in four countries other than the U.S., and has studied -- but not mastered -- 4 spoken languages other than English.
